Palm has announced the availability of the WebOS 2.0 SDK. WebOS 2.0 is expected to ship later this year and the release of the Beta SDK is a signal that the company is in final stages of development.
Included in WebOS 2.0 is improved support for HTML5 and access to data like contacts. Palm is also putting more focus on multitasking abilities within the OS. This is where Palm hopes to stand out from the competition.
