Palm Announces Second WebOS Device

Palm-one With the Palm Pre reaching the end of it's shelf life in the US (It's been there for months already). Palm announced their second WebOS based phone called the Pixi.


The device will be much smaller than the original Pre, but in regards of mobile game development, you only have to take the new screensize in regards. The Palm Pre had a screensize of 320×480. The new Pixi will be only 320×400. It's the first sign of fragmentation for the platform.

The Pixi will be shipped to Sprint consumers later this year. As with the Pre, there is no telling yet when the EU public will enjoy it.
