In order to increase the popularity of Palm’s Pre amongst consumers and to make them aware of Palm’s app store, the company has struck a deal with EA to make several games available for free.
Until the end of March, consumers can freely download Need for Speed Undercover, The Sims 3 and Monopoly to their WebOS devices. As soon as the promo ends, Palm will launch the availability of paid apps in their App Store.
The Palm Pre has also launched in several other key European markets like German and France. It is not clear if the promo extends to those countries as well.
