Samsung Shows off Tizen Device

Apple ‘Launched’ iPad 2.4

While The New iPad launched, it seems Apple also launched a totaly new iPad 2 16GB. During the presentation, Apple said it would remain selling the iPad 2 16GB model next to the New iPad. It didn’t say it had actually improved the iPad 2 hardware in the new 2.4 model. Read the rest of this entry »
Intel and Samsung Present Tizen 1.0

Intel and Samsung have launched version 1.0 of the new Tizen operating system for smartphones. Tizen is a combination of MeeGo (once developed by Intel and Nokia) and Bada OS from Samsung. The whole system is based on the Linux kernel. Developers can start downloading the Tizen SDK’s, but have to realize there isn’t any Tizen hardware… yet. Read the rest of this entry »
