Nokia's Ovi service is now officially supporting the re-download functionality we informed you about earlier. The functionality is however a bit further restricted then we thought at first.
This is because consumers can only re-download content with the same account and the exact same device. This solves issues with available ports for the content, but doesn't solve the issue of consumers wanting to transfer their items to a new Nokia phone just like they would with other shops like the App Store.
The re-download option is not only available for mobile games and applications. The service will also work for Wallpapers, Themes, Ringtones and other forms of content.
