Following the Ovi launch, Nokia has polled consumers about their use of the new platform. As it turned out, half of them actually used it to download games, apps and more.
The poll attracted over 400 respondents. 31% of them downloaded between 2 and 5 items. 6% even downloaded more then 10 items. 36% didn't download at all and 5% was clueless on what Ovi actually is.
As Nokia states, there is clearly interest in the service. Still there is 41% that took time to take the poll but didn't succeed in downloading.
Congratulations

400 respondents – interesting including the Nokia guys? I want to get figures on the downloads. Where the downloads come from? Which devices, which countries, etc.
How many users tried to install it in total and failed? What is the overall user experience of OVI?
So awaiting some real data from Nokia very soon.
