EA has announced that it will be launching a new download store called Origin. With the launch of Origin, the EA webshop goes multi-platform as it supports PC and Mobile users.
Origin will allow consumers to not only purchase and download PC games, but mobile games as well, on a wide number of platforms. At the same time, it offers a lot of community functions as found in Chillingo’s Crystal (hint). More details will come soon as the new shop launches in Beta at 9am PST.
