O’Reilly has compiled a few lists that identify the most effective developers on the App Store. The company shrunk it’s selection to only those who had 10 or more releases in the past 12 months.
O’Reilly calculated effectiveness compared to the number of apps that reached the top 100 list. For paid content, Gameloft has taken the lead with 78%. EA follows the French closely at 76% and Pangea Software took third spot at 73%
In the Free category, Storm8 has taken the lead at 100%. Miraphonic (owned by ngmoco) scored 93% and Playmesh followed at 88%. When checking the performance in the Top Grossing chart, Turner Broadcasting took the lead with 57%. EA took second place at 54% and the third place was for Agile Partners at 50%.
