OrangePixel releases BubbleBee Quicktype

December 11th, 2006 by Arjan Olsder Posted in 1 | No Comments »

OrangePixel and Smallfry have released their first SMS style mobile game which really challenges your thumbs to the max.It reminds me of an old Gamica game I once played, where I have to press the numbers rolling out of a factory. OrangePixel takes it into baloons though and gos for the full dictionary. We’ve pasted the full Press Release below.

OrangePixel announces the release of Bubble Bee Quicktype, developed by South Africa based Smallfry Mobile. A unique typing game that is both educational as well as extremely fun.

Using your text-messaging skills you have to type the words that are shown in the floating bubbles. The words become larger, and the bubbles float faster as you progress through the game.

"BubbleBee Quicktype fits perfect along the line of our current line-up of creative game concepts that are actually designed with the mobile phone in mind." says Pascal Bestebroer CEO of OrangePixel.

With three play modes, a huge word list and a potentially infinite number of levels, BubbleBee QuickType will test your typing skills to the max. Chain perfect words to bump up the score multiplier and earn super high scores to climb your way to the top spot on the QuickType scoreboard.

"With BBQT, we aimed to create a fun game that is intuitive to anyone that is accustomed to using a mobile phone and great fun at the same time, and maintains a high level of quality. The response we have had from testers reinforces this, with regular gamers and users that have never before played a game on their mobile finding the game equally enjoyable and addicting.” Matt Benic
