Nokia to Take on the iPad

April 7th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Smartphones & Tablets | 3 Comments »

Nokia According to analyst Rodman Renshaw, Nokia is ready to start competing for the tablet market. According to an article in ‘The Street’, Nokia is working on a MeeGo based tablet.

Nokia will not be the only company to battle Apple on the iPad market as HP, Asus, MSI and Samsung have also announced internet tablets for this year.

This internet tablet isn’t the first as Nokia has released the N770, N800 and N810 in the past, but they where no success. The release of the iPad might be a signal that the market is ready for such a device.

First movers advantage will always remain with Apple. Nokia, though a big brand, can not make difference.
Success of iphone is known to everyone.
