Nokia has been rumored to be in the process of acquiring Motally, a mobile analytics company that allows in-app and on-site tracking of consumers and consumer behavior.
By acquiring Motally, Nokia will bring more tracking options to their platform, something favored a lot by marketers who now primarily target iOS and Android. Motally currently supports iOS, BlackBerry and Android. After the acquisition, Nokia will be working hard on introducing support for Symbian, MeeGo, QT and J2me.
Motally raised $1 Million back in June 2009. The acquisition from Nokia would mean a quick exit for its shareholders.
