Back in 2009, Nokia announced that it, together with Microsoft, would start the development of Microsoft Office for Symbian Devices. Following up on the EOL status for Symbian, Nokia finally released Microsoft Office for the OS.
Owners of the C7, E7, X7, C6-01, 700, 701, 603 and Oro can freely acquire the full office suite though the software update feature on their phones. More Symbian phones (like the popular N8) will be added soon. So there’s no more money in Office-like apps on the ever-shrinking platform.
