Nokia Launches the First CDMA Lumia in China

March 29th, 2012 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: Windows Phone | No Comments »

Nokia has announced the launch of their new Lumia 800C in China. Needless to say, the 800C is the Chinese version of the Lumia 800 we all know since late last year. It is the first CDMA phone in the Chinese market running Windows Phone as well.

The 800C is launched on the network of China Telecom and the two companies cooperated on tailoring the Windows Phone experience for the Chinese market. Sony and China Telecom also announced the Lumia 610 will be getting a ā€˜Cā€™ makeover for the Chinese market. The 610C will then be the cheapest CDMA Windows Phone device in the Chinese market.
