Nielsen released some new insights into the US iPhone demographic. They calculated that 75% of about 6.4 million iPhone owners are downloading from the App Store.
The biggest iPhone age group is 35-54. Those owners take up 36%. The 18-24 age group which is most popular to the gaming industry takes up just 13%. 98% of the iPhone owners use data services. 75% actually download Apps. There is also good news to the LBS community. 72% of the owners used some sort of LBS service. We expect that it will be Google Maps most of the time, but still it's a good start.
