ngmoco has announced the hiring of MySpace's former SVP of Business Development Jason Oberfest. He will take the role of VP of Social Application at the iPhone publisher.
His role will be to convert successful iPhone formats to web based games and successful web based games to the iPhone. This means that ngmoco is broadening it's platform focus. Given the close connection to Apple, it might take a while before the company move to competitive platforms though.
