New iPad 2 Runs on Different GFX Chip

Keeping a tap on Hardware, something you can rely on with the boys and girls of iFixit. iFixit has just announced their latest finding; the newer iPad 2 models are running on different graphic hardware.

To be specific, the new iPad 2 models are equipped with Wiseview chips coming from Samsung, while the older iPad and iPad 2 models had been equipped with the SW0627B chips from ‘the other Koreans’ at LG. Nothing is known about possible performance differences in the chips.
