Apple is about to ship the white iPhone 4 to the existing iPhone 4 markets and at the same time, the iPhone 4 and the iPad are about to hit the shelves in new territories.
The white iPhone 4 has been delayed again though Apple is still aiming at a release later this month. If Apple will hold on to this, shortages are expected as the manufacturer of the white painted glass (Lens Technology) has huge production problems. It seems very hard to apply enough white paint to guarantee an even finish on both the front and the back of the device.
Meanwhile, the black iPhone 4 is expected to hit the second wave of countries (Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland) on July 30th.
The iPad will also be hitting the second wave of countries. Apple sellers in The Netherlands and Belgium already confirmed to have the iPad on stock though they are not allowed to sell before Friday.
