We have seen a lot of new studios that started developing mobile games for the App Store. The most recent studio to join the ever growing group is good old National Geographic.

With their new game studio, National Geographic Games, the focus is not only at the iPhone. The studio will also develop PC, Console and handheld games. The studio will mainly develop it's games based on own TV productions.

The first iPhone game is already launching on the App Store. It's called Herod's Lost Tomb and features gameplay based Herodes, a character from the Bible.
