It seems Namco is in hot pursuit over EA as it is the second company to install a dedicated studio for iPhone games. EA launched a similar studio called 8lb Gorilla earlier this month.
The new studio will be headed by Jonathan Kromrey. Kromrey was previously working for I-Play as mobile games producer and designer. It is not clear yet if the studio only focuses on small casual games like 8lb does.
