It seems like mobile phone controllers are finally getting traction. Following the success of the Zeemote, a company called Vyro Games is putting their unique controller on the market.
The company showed their PIP (Personal Input Pod) controller at the Mobile World Congress last week. The remarkable aspect of this controller is not only it's shape, but the fact that it's got nearly no buttons at all!
Instead of pushing buttons, the objective is just to keep the PIP between your thumb and forefinger. The device holds a sensor that will readout your stress levels and provide that data to the mobile game.
There is no news yet about the availability of SDK's for the development community. We will try to get more details to you soon. Meanwhile, PocketGamer had a small interview with the Vyro crew. You can find it here.
