It seems the end is over for the dumbphone if we have to believe Samsung. Though the manufacturer still creates a large amount of feature phones, it is expected that Bada will be their new OS.
This doesn’t mean we expect Bada to be an OS for only underpowered phones, but as Samsung still delivers phones with Android, Windows Mobile and other smartphone platforms, it is likely to as the vendor still needs affordable hardware for a big part of their consumers.
Bada will be supporting Samsungs Touchwiz interface that can be found on other Samsung smart- and feature phones. This will assumingly also save their widget collection from fragmentation problems.
