Though not presented at their MWC event, Samsung did have something interesting to show at their booth. The company made room to present their new Galaxy S WiFi devices that used to go under the name Galaxy Player.
Samsung is presenting the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 which are pretty much sim-less smartphones. The 4.0 and 5.0 stand for the number of inches on screen estate you get for your money. The 5 incher could even be referred to as a mini Tab given that is barely leaves any room for keys in your pocket. The Galaxy WiFi makes use of Samsung’s new Super Clear LCD display line. Both run on Android 2.3 but further details are missing.
