Adobe has announced to start supporting Flash for Windows Phone 7 Series soon. In return, the company plans to halt further development of Flash on Windows Mobile 6.5.
Adobe will not be working on an entirely new Flash release, but instead it will work on porting Flash 10.1 which is also announced for a series of other smartphone platforms earlier this week. A releasedate has not been specified, but an Adobe spokesperson didn’t expect it to be ready in time for the first commercial release of Microsoft’s platform.
