The guys over at MocoNews reported more bad luck for InfoSpace is underway. Even though this has not much to do with their mobile games studios, the most recent problems for them are within the mobile division again. This time, EMI seems to have started a lawsuit claiming to be underpaid for about $ 10 million. This includes damages for selling music products InfoSpace had no license on. If EMI would be proven right, this would be a serious problem for their mobile content services. The total claim from EMI toward InfoSpace is $ 100 million. With the departure of operators like Cingular and H3G Italy from their portfolio last year, it seems InfoSpace remains in rough weather.
Congratulations
