Though Google announced that billing mobile game sales for Android isn't possible before early 2009, a company called Mogees has just announed an SDK to at least offer some sort of billing.
With this move, Mogees beats Google's Android Market payment system and allows mobile game developers to start making money from their mobile games during the important holiday period.
Besides being early, Mogees is also cheap. Whereas Google offers the developer 70%, Mogees is satisfied with 10% + a $ 0,30 fee per purchase. At the same time, the company is also offering the first developers that sign up to the platform free billing until the end of the year.
Next to the Android platform, the company also announced plans to extend their SDK to Blackberry and iPhone. With the iPhone we really wonder how they plan that as the only delivery method is the iTunes App Store.
Congratulations
