Moblyng Partners with Playdom, Secures Funding

Moblyng had two interesting announcements today. First off, the company has secured $2.65 million in funding. Secondly, the company has set up a partnership with Playdom, which is big on Facebook.

This round of funding is not the first as the company already raised $11,11 million since it started back in 2007. The biggest round of funding so far remains the Series B funding in May 2008 totalling $5.7 Million.

The latest $2.65 million in funding was received from existing investors Mohr Davidow Ventures and Deep Fork Capital.

The partnership with Playdom will bring Playdom franchises like Mobsters and Sorority Life to the mobile platforms supported by Moblyng.
