Though all iPhone apps can be ran on the iPad, only 6 out of 23 apps consist of a dedicated layout that is optimized for the iPad’s screen size. The company also revealed some other demographics.
Rich Media ads score far better than standard banners. Video and interactive campaigns receive 11 times more clicks. 20% of the iPad App Store consists of games and iPad gamers spend 2 times more time on a gaming session. Also, eCPM’s are about 5 times higher compared to eCPM’s on the iPhone.
