Neurosky has released a new device for PC, Mac, iOS and Android called MyndPlay. Myndplay allows developers access to raw brainwave data, giving them the power to alter the experience depending on how the gamers experiences the game itself.
The Myndplay follows in the footsteps of the company’s MyndWave headset. The RAW braindata is sent to the (mobile) device over a Bluetooth connection. With the raw data flowing into your app, you can match brainwaves with progress in your game and lower of higher difficulty depending on how the user experiences the action. If the MyndPlay will become successful does of course depend on the amount of consumers running around with the device. With a pricetag of $129,95 it might take a bit of time…
