March 15th, 2011 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: Windows Phone | 1 Comment »

According to an anonymous source at Bloomberg, Microsoft is set to end production of new Zune media players. Zune never made it outside of the US and never managed to be a real competitor to the iPod.

According to the source, Microsoft will keep developing the software and services side of Zune as it is already integrated into Windows Phone 7 and Xbox 360.
