It seems the Redmond giant has another trick up its sleeve for the Windows Marketplace. Its what the company calls app sharing that should generate a viral sales effect.
Through this app sharing initiative, a purchased app or game can be installed on up to 5 devices. This allows consumers to swap purchased mobile games without ending up in piracy. As there is a limit of 5 installs, consumers will be careful whom to provide their games to as they probably want one in return.
Will this be the killer tactic to stimulate massive mounts of purchases, or does it just mean that developers are giving up 80% of their kickbacks for nothing?
Congratulations
