Microsoft Sold 2 Million Windows Phone 7 Licenses

Microsoft has announced that it has sold 2 million Windows Phone 7 licenses to device vendors. This news follows on the announcement that 1.5 million Windows Phone 7 devices have been sold in the first two months after launch.

According to customer research from Microsoft, 93% of consumers is very satisfied with their new OS and 90% of them would tip the OS to friends and family.

Looking at the Windows Marketplace, Microsoft is adding 100 apps a day and the total number of apps on deck passed the 6.500.
