Developers looking to port their apps over to the Windows Phone 7 platform are getting help from the folks over at Microsoft. The giant has created a set of two items they can use for the job.
The first one is an API mapping tool. The tool allows you to lookup iOS API’s and translate them to the Windows Phone 7 versions. With the ”Windows Phone 7 Guide for iPhone Application Developers”, Microsoft helps you to understand the differences in developing for Windows Phone 7 if you are used to the iOS environment. They are both available here.
Microsoft has planned a similar set of tools for Android developers. Those are expected to be ready along the summer.
