Microsoft NL Speaks About Windows Phone 7 Launch

July 14th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: Windows Mobile | No Comments »

Maarten Sonneveld, Business Group Lead Mobile Communications at Microsoft Netherlands has announced that Microsoft NL regrets the unavailability of the Marketplace in The Netherlands.

Yet, developers from The Netherlands are allowed to sell their apps and games in other countries where the Marketplace is activated already. Microsoft NL also expects to have the first, English, phones in the Dutch market by the end of the year. Talks with phone vendors on this topic have already been confirmed by Microsoft.

When the first English phones hit our market, Microsoft will try to at least make available the Windows Marketplace for free, non-localized content.
