Microsoft had announced that this year they would complete a whole lot
of smaller and bigger acquisitions. Though Yahoo is still far from
Final, Danger seems more easy for the Redmond based giant.
Danger is the producer of the widely popular Sidekick device that is sold by many operators world-wide. Microsoft does not own a division that produces mobile phone hardware and since Danger has a lot of smartphone knowledge, it might be an ideal fit for a Zune phone or something in that direction.
"Microsoft is a global leader with our Windows Mobile software and expanding mobile services," said Robbie Bach, president of the Entertainment and Devices Division at Microsoft. "The addition of Danger serves as a perfect complement to our existing software and services, and also strengthens our dedication to improving mobile experiences centered around individuals and what they like."

"Now by combining our uncompromised application software and powerful back-end service with Microsoft, we can expand our innovative service offerings even further and take mobility to a new level."
Perhaps Microsoft could use Motorola as a midnight snack in oder to get an even bigger grasp on the mobile phone market.
