Ever since the launch of Android on the G1, users have been filing complaints about the lack of support for the installation of apps on external storage media like Micro SD cards.
Ever since the launch of the Nexus One, Google developers announced they are working on a solution. One of those developers has now confirmed that the feature is officially ‘coming soon’. Analysts expect the feature to be announced on Google’s I/O conference where Android 2.2 is to expected to be announced as well.
