Metismo Integrates Metaflow

March 28th, 2008 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Distribution | No Comments »

MetismoMetismo has announced to include Metaflow’s services into their Bedrock development platform. This integration offers Bedrock users the option to handle their games from creation to deployment in one environment.

MetaflowThrough this deal, the device databases of Metismo and Metaflow will be synced up. This means that new device information entered by any of the two companies, will instantly become available to all users. Also, Metismo and Metaflow will use the same naming conventions to ease the communication between the services.

For Developers working with multiple Publishing partners the integration will allow them to instantly switch between different naming and grouping requirements.

For Publishers they will be able to take delivery of builds direct from the Developer or Porting House along with a pre-built Metaflow ‘discovery’ xml file, eliminating this step from their normal process, which will enable quick and error free ingestion into their system.

"The benefit of this approach is that the chance of human error due to incorrect naming or copying of files is almost completely eliminated" said Charles McLeod, CEO Metaflow.

"We already believe Bedrock to be a huge benefit to any content provider wanting an efficient, scalable approach to development" commented John Chasey, CEO Metismo. "Partnering with Metaflow is the natural next step to provide an entirely integrated environment."
