First impressions. They are not only important when on a blind date, but also when creating an app. According to research from Localytics, 26% of all apps downloaded in 2010 have been fired up only once.
This number is not specific to the iPhone platform that drowns in apps as Localytics also checked app usage under Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone users. The percentage of one-hit apps grew from quarter to quarter. This shows egagement is king.
