Localytics: 6% of iPad App Sessions on 3G/4G

March 26th, 2012 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS | No Comments »

With over three million new iPad’s sold in three days, Apple proves it is still dominating. We visited a local Dixons at midnight to check the interest in the 4G version of the iPad and found out 28% of the people wanted one.

Though our findings are far from representative, it is very interesting to check out Localytics’ latest infograph detailing that only 6% of app sessions happen over a wireless network. Their report also shows that 89.7% of the iPad’s on the market only support WiFi.
