LiMo has announced the release date of their open Linux platform for
mobile handsets, in time to compete with Android and iPhone.
Unlike Android, the other Linux platform for mobile phones, LiMo was initialized by Motorola, Samsung, Panasonic and other big players in the industry, whereas Google started development of their Android platform on their own.
With the release, LiMo hopes to enter the marketplace fast. LiMo also starts making available API’s to the development community to make sure that mobile applications and mobile games are available to consumers in time.
Congratulations
