Good news for the LiMo foundation. Despite the fierce competition of Google's Android, six mobile operators have announced that they plan to launch mobile phones based on the LiMo platform.
The operators that have committed themselves to launching LiMo (Linux Mobile) phones are NTT DoCoMo, Orange, SK Telecom, Telefonica (entered the LiMo board today), Verizon Wireless and Vodafone.
The first phones will be demonstrated on the Mobile World Congress, but LiMo has certified 33 commercial devices already.
Congratulations
