LG has announced that it will wait with the release of the Optimus Pad as it regards Android 2.2 unfit for use on a tablet computer. This is contradiction to competitors Samsung and Sharp that are launching a few of them.
LG already finished the hardware of the tablet, but the company needs more time, and a more matured version of Android, to finish the software development of the device. Probably, LG is waiting for Android 3.0, just like HTC and Acer. Android 3.0 is already known as the more ‘tablet friendly’ version of the OS.
Congratulations
