LG Kicks Off Dualcore Phone Race

While we only just reported that Nokia and HTC will be delivering phones with a dualcore design, LG has introduced the first one yesterday to kick off the race.

Their Optimus 2X has been fitted with a Tegra 2 processor from Nvidia that runs at 1Ghz. The phone is sold with Android 2.2 but will run Android 2.3 very soon after. It will launch in Korea next month with Europe and the US to follow.
