As some of you might remember from our Android Experience coverage, the folks at Layar where in search of a business model in order to turn the company cashflow positive. This might happen with a new content store.
The content store will be a separate index with paid layers and should be active on Android already, but iPhone owners will have to wait a bit longer for now. Layar purchases will be handled by PayPal which is a smart move as not all Android owners go through the troubles of creating a Google Checkout account. Layar will be offering developers a 60:40 rev-share deal.
