There’s a new advertiser in town and it is called Kiip (from the founders of Dig). The new platform launched on iOS and Android with the goal to tie advertisers to in-game achievements.
Kiip does so by rewarding gamers with free products from sponsors like Dr. Pepper and Sony that will be handed out if a player reaches a certain score. The SDK forms a layer within the game, much like many traditional ad systems and developers themselves are responsible for how the ads are implemented. The availability of Kiip might even make it worth for gamers to cough up that 99 cents.
