Developers who sign up to Jumptap now can apply for what the company calls the ‘passport to freedom program’. Through the promotion, Jumptap will be paying out 100% of revenues generated.
Jumptap will sacrifice their revenues until the end of 2010 or when the missed revenues total to $4 million. Next to offering their share of the revenues, clients that want to advertise their apps in the Jumptap network will see their inventory double (with a maximum total value of $200.000).
Jumptap supports iOS, Android and BlackBerry.
“We launched this program in response to the many developers and publishers who are at risk of losing revenue as a result of being ‘caught in the crossfire’ between Google and Apple’s battle over platform control,” said Paran Johar, CMO of Jumptap. “They need a reliable and consistent stream of revenue from one single provider that supports all devices. Jumptap is the only open platform that offers the best of all worlds, including both premium and performance advertising solutions, the most comprehensive array of rich media ad units, top tier advertisers, and the most advanced targeting – all designed to drive increased fill rates and deliver the highest revenues to our customers.”
“Jumptap’s focus on delivering the most relevant, high quality ads while providing cross platform support works well for us,” stated Greg Rose, VP of Business Development & Strategy at IconApps. “The Passport to Freedom Program is a great incentive for new customers to reap the benefits of working with an open platform to support all their needs.”
