Indian developer and publisher Jump Games has announced to have
successfully licensed Manchester United for new mobile football (or
soccer for the US) games.
In the deal, Jump Games (part of Reliance Entertainment) will be entitled to release six mobile games based on the English football club. The first game, MANCHESTER UNITED Word It!, launching in April already.
The distribution of the Manchester United mobile games will be handled through the new European office of Jump Games. That same office will also keep hunting for other IP.
The European launch and global announcement of ‘Official Mobile Games Partner of Manchester United’ were celebrated in London in which a video message from Sir Alex Ferguson stated: “Manchester United, all of us, are delighted in our new arrangement with Jump Games. I think it’s a fantastic venture. And to all our fans all over the world it’s an opportunity to get yourselves involved in it.”
