UK developer Distinctive is expanding its team of directors by getting Juan Montes on board as a non-executive director. Juan’s main job will be to help the company to set its strategy and expand on a global scale. In his past, Juan Montes was VP of software development at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, CTO and VP of content at Motorola and last but not least, European MD at Jamdat.

Nigel Little, the founder and managing director of Distinctive Developments, said, “The mobile entertainment market has always moved very rapidly. This pace is increasing with new technologies, devices, business models and opportunities emerging on an almost weekly basis. Juan is one of the few people within the industry who grasps the enormous potential of the market as a whole and can see where it s all leading. Distinctive has achieved a great deal in recent years and we are determined to remain at the forefront of the industry as it continues to grow. We’re very pleased to welcome Juan on board and look forward to working with him in the future.”

Juan Montes, agrees, “The mobile entertainment market is a very demanding and competitive industry to work within. Distinctive has already established an excellent reputation for the creativity and quality of their titles, as well as their understanding of what works, what is possible and what is fun on a mobile phone. I am delighted to be working with one of the best independent developers in the world today and look forward to helping the company achieve even greater success in the future.”
