Admob has made new data available on the growth of the iPhone OS over the past Christmas period. Ad requests on the iPod Touch grew 96% week-on-week. For the iPhone this was just 12%.
On December 26th, there was a usage increase of 57%. Part of this can be explained due to the successful sales of the iPod Touch as Christmas present. Needless to say, an iPhone is a less likely Christmas present since it comes with a subscription. That means general activity has gone up as a lot of people where probably killing time.
