China Telecom is set to be launching the new iPhone 4S from Apple later this month. The operator will be launching the CDMA version of the device which is exciting news for Apple fans in China. China Telcom is the third operator to carry the CDMA version of the iPhone 4s on it’s network.
The launch of the iPhone 4S in China should be good news for iOS developers as a new breed of consumers will be introduced to the App Store. Morgan Stanley predicts that Apple could be shifting 40 million handsets next year alone (though all operators in China have to offer the device to get this far).
