Selling 300.000 iPad’s on day one is certainly impressive, but what about the download behavior of the new iPad consumer base? These are a few statistics announced by Apple.
According to Apple, consumers generated over 1 million downloads on the iPad App Store. Next to apps, 250.000 books where downloaded which shows apps are probably a more important selling point.
With the installation of iBooks, Apple gave users a free download for A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-pooh. It is not clear if those downloads where taken up in the total but it would be likely as Apple wants to announce large numbers.
